About Kyle – The Coach Behind TriDoc
My journey into triathlon began during one of the busiest times of my life — while I was applying for medical school. What started as a personal challenge quickly became a passion that shaped my approach to endurance sports. Since then, I’ve completed the Ironman Lake Placid, Ironman 70.3 Eagleman, multiple sprint and Olympic triathlons, the Buffalo Marathon, and countless half marathons and shorter distance races.
As both an endurance athlete and a future physician, I believe in science-driven training plans that are customized to fit real life — not the other way around. I focus on balancing performance with injury prevention, using proven strategies to maximize every hour you invest in training. Whether you’re a beginner looking to cross your first finish line or a seasoned triathlete chasing a PR, I bring a combination of personal experience, medical insight, and mental toughness coaching to help you achieve your goals.
From Small Town to Ironman
I grew up in upstate New York, where endurance sports weren’t exactly common. While working odd jobs and chasing my dream of becoming a physician, I found triathlon as a way to challenge myself both mentally and physically. Training for my first half Ironman while preparing for medical school taught me discipline, resilience, and how to build sustainable training systems.
